Supporting children with special needs has been my lifelong calling—more than a profession, it's a deep personal commitment that has shaped who I am as an educator and advocate. With 18 years of experience as a special education teacher and learning specialist, I have devoted my career to empowering neurodivergent students—including those with ADHD/ADD, autism, learning disabilities, and dyslexia—to access their education and reach their full potential.

My work centers on championing student rights, uplifting diverse and underserved communities, and partnering closely with families to create meaningful, individualized pathways for success. I bring extensive expertise in behavior and executive functioning development, IEP and 504 planning, and IDEA compliance. My approach blends deep professional knowledge with practical, actionable strategies that help students thrive both academically and in their daily lives.

Today, I use my background—and my enduring passion for this work—to guide parents through the complexities of the special education system with clarity, compassion, and confidence. I help families make sense of assessments, understand their child's needs, navigate meetings, and advocate for the services and supports their child deserves.
